How do I create an account?

Open the Accounts section
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select Create Account
Fill in the account details
Optionally enable Exclude from Total Balance if you don't want this account included in your overall balance
Tap Create

How do I set a default account?

Open the account you want (tap it in the list)
Tap the star icon in the top-right corner of the account card
The star will become filled, indicating this is now your default account

The default account is automatically selected when you create new transactions.

How do I adjust an account balance?

Open the account (tap it in the list)
Tap the pencil icon in the top-right corner
Edit the balance field
Optionally keep Create Adjustment enabled to generate a correction transaction (recommended to preserve history)
Tap Save

How do I transfer money between accounts?

Open the account you want to transfer from
Tap Transfer on the account card
Tap the To field and select the destination account
Enter the transfer amount
If the accounts use different currencies, the current exchange rate is applied automatically — tap the displayed rate to enter a custom one
Optionally add a comment or change the date
Tap Save

How do I delete an account?

Find the account in the accounts list
Long-press the account to open the context menu
Select Delete
In the confirmation dialog, choose one of the following:
- Keep Transactions — only the account is removed; transactions are preserved
- Delete Transactions — transactions are deleted and related balances are reversed
Tap Delete to confirm

Transactions

How do I add an expense?

On the categories screen, tap the expense category you want
Your default account is pre-selected — tap the From field to change it
Optionally pick a subcategory from the horizontal list below the fields
Enter the amount using the keypad
Optionally add a comment (message icon), change the date (calendar icon), or use the calculator (calculator icon)
Tap Save

How do I add income?

On the categories screen, tap the income category you want

How do I add a transfer?

On the account page, tap Transfer

Open the Transactions section to view all transactions, sorted by date (newest first)

To view transactions for a specific category, long-press the category on the categories screen and select Transactions

Budgets

How do I create a budget?

Open the Budgets section
Tap the + button
Select a category for the budget
Enter the spending limit
Choose the currency
Tap Create

How do I track my budget progress?

Open the Budgets section. Each budget displays:

Spent amount vs. limit
Usage percentage
A progress bar (green = on track, orange = less than 10% remaining, red = exceeded)
Amount remaining or amount over budget

Budget progress is also shown on the categories screen as a fill indicator on each category card.

How do I edit a budget?

Long-press the budget
Select Edit from the context menu
Change the amount or currency (the category cannot be changed)
Tap Save

How do I delete a budget?

Select Delete from the context menu
Confirm the deletion

How do I view my monthly statistics?

The main Overview screen shows your current month's statistics:

How do I select a time period for a report?

Open the desired report in the Reports section
Use the mode toggle: Month (single month) or Range (custom range)
For a single month, use the arrows to navigate between months
For a range, select the start and end dates

How do I view spending by category?

Open the Reports section
Select Category Breakdown
Choose the type (Expense or Income) and the period
A pie chart shows the distribution across categories
Tap a segment to view details

How do I view income and expense trends?

Open the Reports section
Select Income/Expense Trends

The chart shows your income and expense dynamics month by month.

How do I view my account balance over a period?

Open the Reports section
Select Balance Over Time
Choose the desired period

The chart shows how your account balances changed over the selected timeframe.

How do I view the weekly report?

Open the Reports section
Under Periodic, select Weekly Report

The report includes:

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store:

iOS: Device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Red Money → Cancel
Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Red Money → Cancel

After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Workspaces

How do I create a workspace?

Workspaces let you separate your financial flows. Multiple workspaces are available to Premium users.

Tap the menu button
Tap Change
Select Create workspace
Fill in the required details and choose the workspace's base currency (it cannot be changed later)
Tap Create

How do I switch between workspaces?

Tap the menu button
Tap Change
Select the workspace you want to switch to

How do I invite someone to my workspace?

Tap the menu button
Tap Invite
Generate a new invite code
Share the code with the person you want to invite

How do I join someone else's workspace?

Tap Join workspace
Enter the invite code you received

Account Groups

How do I create an account group?

Open the Accounts section
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
Select Create Group
Enter a group name
Tap Create

How do I move an account to a different group?

Open the Accounts section

Select Reorder
Drag the account from one group to another

How do I delete an account group?

Long-press the group header
Select Delete from the context menu
If the group contains accounts, choose another group to move them to
Confirm the deletion

How do I change the order of groups and accounts?

In the Accounts section, tap the three-dot menu
Select Reorder
Drag and drop groups and accounts into the desired order
Tap the checkmark to confirm

Currencies

How does multi-currency support work?

Each workspace has a base currency (chosen at creation)
Accounts can use different currencies
Categories can have their own currency
When you create a transaction between different currencies, the exchange rate is applied automatically
All amounts are converted to the workspace currency for statistics and reports

Where do exchange rates come from?

Exchange rates are fetched automatically from an external provider and updated once a day.

Can I set a custom exchange rate?

Yes. When creating a transaction between accounts with different currencies:

You will see the automatically calculated rate
Tap the displayed rate
Enter your custom rate

The amount is recalculated automatically.

AI Assistant

How do I start a chat with the AI assistant?

Open AI Chat from the menu
Tap + to create a new chat
Type your question and send it

What can I ask the AI assistant?

The AI assistant has access to your financial data and can help with:

Spending analysis — "How much did I spend on food this month?"
Comparisons — "Which category has the highest spending?"
Balances — "What is the balance on my card?"
Planning — "Help me plan next month's budget"
History — "What transactions did I make yesterday?"
Recommendations for optimizing your spending

How do I delete a chat?

Find the chat in the chat list
Select Delete
Confirm — all messages in that chat will be permanently deleted

Settings

How do I change the app theme?

Open Settings → Appearance
Choose a theme mode:
- System — follows your device settings
- Light — light theme
- Dark — dark theme

An OLED variant (pure black background) is available for the dark theme with Premium.

How do I change the accent color?

Open Settings → Appearance
In the Accent Color section, pick a color from the grid

Some colors are exclusive to Premium.

How do I hide financial data on screen?

Open Settings → Input & Accounting
Enable Hide Data

All amounts and balances will be masked (displayed as ***).

How do I change the calculator layout?

Open Settings → Input & Accounting
Toggle the Calculator Layout option

Two keypad layouts are available.

Security & Privacy

How do I set a PIN code?

Open Settings → Security & Privacy
Enable the PIN Code toggle
Enter a 4-digit PIN
Confirm the PIN by entering it again

The app will automatically lock when minimized.

How do I disable the PIN code?

Open Settings → Security & Privacy
Disable the PIN Code toggle

Both the PIN and biometric unlock will be turned off.

How do I enable Face ID / Touch ID?

Set a PIN code first (if you haven't already)
Open Settings → Security & Privacy
Enable the Face ID or Touch ID toggle
Confirm with your biometrics

You can now use biometrics instead of the PIN to unlock the app.

How do I view active sessions?

Open Settings → Security & Privacy → Sessions

You will see:

Your current session (this device)
Active sessions on other devices
Past session history

Each session shows the platform, app version, and last activity time.

How do I sign out from another device?

Open the sessions list (Settings → Security & Privacy → Sessions)
Find the active session of the other device
Tap the logout icon next to it
Confirm the action

That device will be signed out automatically. You can also tap Sign Out All Other Devices to log out everywhere at once.

Archiving

How do I archive an account, category, or debt?

Find the item in its list (account, category, or debt)
Long-press the item
Select Archive from the context menu
Confirm the action

The item disappears from the main list but is not deleted.

How do I restore an item from the archive?

Open the section's three-dot menu
Select Archived… (e.g., Archived Accounts or Archived Categories)
Find the item you want to restore
Long-press it and select Restore

The item will reappear in the main list.

Where can I find archived items?

Accounts: Accounts → three-dot menu → Archived Accounts
Categories: Categories → three-dot menu → Archived Categories

From the archive, you can view, restore, or permanently delete items.

Account Management

How does data sync between devices?

All data is stored in the cloud
Sync happens in real time
Changes on one device appear instantly on all others
An internet connection is required for syncing
Sign in to the same account on all your devices

How do I sign out?

Open Settings → Profile
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
Select Sign Out
Confirm

You will be redirected to the sign-in screen. Your data remains in the cloud and will sync when you sign back in.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Profile
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
Select Delete Account
Confirm by re-authenticating (Google/Apple)

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
